Peter,

There is some evidence Rife used the AC mains frequency as the modulation frequency ( gate rate ) , and would vary the carrier frequency. Some of the early Rife instruments ran off batteries , and presumably also used a motor generator. The rotation speed of the generator could vary the output AC frequency. Aircraft used to run off 400 hz AC current for example.By changing the rotation speed of the DC motor connected to the AC generator, then the modulation frequency could be changed. Do not know if Rife varied the AC frequency or not .

>Rife's lab notes contain wide range of modulating frequencies from low audio to 1.6MHz
>Is there Anyone who can solve the problem : for example the 1950 machine used carrier >frequency around 3 MHz --how can anyone modulate this carrier with : example 400KHz, >let alone 1.6 MHz ? Even the 28 MHz carrier would not do it!
