Hi everyone, I just started coiling with my new doug coil machine this week, and set the ampl to 13 as instructed. However, I find the loud noise from coiling on my head, face and ears unbearable. I can't imagine anyone can endure this loud noise from coiling for years ahead for multiple infections? Does anyone feel the noise too loud? or just my doug coil machine? So far, I have tried using ear plugs which only help a little. Someone also suggests put a pillow between the coil and my head which I have not tried yet. Does anyone have any other ideas/advice? Thx. Also, would it be possible to make a coil less noisy? Please read: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coil_noise Jen -
