New Feature: SkypeWeb Integration

SkypeWeb allows the online status of Skype users to be viewed on web pages, and fits very nicely with The Rife Forum.

What is Skype?
Skype is a little program for making free calls over the internet to anyone else who also has Skype. It’s free and easy to download and use, and works with most computers. Download Skype (http://www.skype.com/go/linked?campaign=200504paffiliate)now. (http://www.skype.com/go/linked?campaign=200504paffiliate) You can also call normal phones for a small charge.
If you want to be able to talk to other Rife Forum members via Skype for free, no matter where they are in the world, please add your Skype Name to your profile. (http://www.rifeforum.com/forum/profile.php?do=editprofile) Your Skype Name will then be visible to others, via the Member List who can then contact you directly by simple clicking on http://mystatus.skype.com/smallicon/grayfieldoptical.
In order to use this feature properly, you need to have the latest version of Skype installed and made a minor change to your settings as follows:
How do I get a Skype status button?
Edit your privacy options in Skype to show your status on the web. (You need Skype 2.0 for this — get it now (http://www.skype.com/go/linked?campaign=200504paffiliate) if you haven’t already.)
Simply go to Tools > Options > Privacy

Tick the “Allow my status to be shown on the web” checkbox and “Save”.
Use the wizard (http://www.skype.com/go/skypebuttons) to customise your button
What next?
You need to add your Skype username to your profile on the Rife Forum (http://www.rifeforum.com/forum/profile.php?do=editprofile) and save it. From now on, your Skype status will appear next to your posts and on the Members List (http://www.rifeforum.com/forum/memberlist.php) (visible to registered members only).
What will my buttons look like?
Your Skype buttons will show your actual Skype status. So, if you’re online and in the mood for random conversation, you’ll set your status to “Skype Me!” and “Skype Me!” will also show on the web, wherever you’ve pasted your buttons.

(Please note that if you’re in “Invisible” mode, anyone viewing your buttons will see that you’re “Offline”.)
